New online tool to help with Medicare’s “incident-to” rules

Want help in determining when a non-physician’s service can be billed? Novitas Solutions, the Texas Medicare Administrative Contractor, has developed an interactive self-service tool to assist you in determining when a non-physician practitioner’s service can be billed under the “incident to” provision.  This tool assists physicians and their staff with understanding the CMS Part B “incident-to” requirements, how to apply the rules to their individual patient/provider circumstances, and how to understand documentation requirements.
