Here is an excellent article on health savings accounts by Elizabeth Johnson of the MGMA Communications Department. The article is titled: Medical group administrators beginning to learn about HSAs but remain cautious about full benefit to patients and practices

Nearly 64 percent of medical group practices are beginning to understand the rules and regulations surrounding health savings accounts (HSAs), according to a Medical Group Management Association study. However, only 4 percent of respondents view themselves as experts on these accounts, projected to be an increasingly prevalent feature of insurance and benefits programs.
