New 2007 Withholding Tables for Physician Practice Payroll: What You Need to Know

Employment Taxes—2007 Tax Withholding Tables: The IRS released the 12/06 revision of Notice 1036 , which contains early release copies of the tables that will appear in the 1/07 revision of IRS Pub. 15 (Circular E), “Employer’s Tax Guide.” The tables (for income tax withholding under the percentage and wage bracket methods, and for the advance earned income credit under the percentage and wage bracket methods) will apply to wages paid in 2007.
