Home health to get increase in Medicare rates

The CMS in a final rule will increase Medicare payments for home health agencies by 3% in 2008, resulting in $430 million in additional payments next year.  Those agencies that don’t submit quality data on 12 measures will only receive a 1% update in 2008.
