Consider adding one more hour of patient visits

If you have patients waiting to be seen—perhaps scheduled weeks or months ahead—consider the economics of adding one hour to your office visit schedule. The resulting extra take-home pay may be enormous.

There is a tremendous dollar value in seeing additional patients. If adding another exam room allows you to see one more patient every other hour, you may realize an extra $18,000 of income per year. The same is true if you change your appointment patterns so more patients can be accommodated within the same time.

Considering the sorry state of reimbursement these days, this almost seems like a necessity!
