IRS Posts Publication Explaining Individual Income Tax: The IRS posted an updated version of Publication 17 , " Your Federal Income Tax ," to www.irs.gov . The online version has more than 900 interactive links and has been updated with important 2008 changes, including information on the new recovery rebate credit, new first-time-homebuyer credit, and an additional standard deduction for real estate taxes. IRS Promotes Tax Talk Today on Upcoming Filing Season: A special 100-minute Tax Talk Today entitled "Getting Ready for Filing Season 2009—Individuals and Businesses," will be held on 1/13/09.
