Make your physician office support staff more efficient

Effective leaders understand the importance of their staff to help run the physician office. There's just no room for the "if-you-want-something-done-right-do-it-yourself" mentality in today's busy practice.

You must be ready, willing, and able to delegate whatever day-to-day chores can be done by others, freeing you for higher-level responsibilities. When you trust staff to make key decisions, you improve the overall productivity of your practice, your own productivity, and the morale of your employees.

So carefully examine your practice's policies and procedures as they relate to staff delegation, management, and communication issues.
