Family practice doctors – don’t miss out on this revenue stream

An article in the New York Times stated that efforts to promote smoking cessation in the U.S. appear to be taking a hit as more programs shift their focus on combating obesity. "In the last several years we've seen the rapid progress in both adult and youth smoking rates slow to a crawl largely because of a decline in overall spending at the state level on tobacco prevention and cessation," said the head of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.

I wonder how many family practitioners are missing out on this revenue stream?
