Year end physician practice management review

You should be looking at and comparing the following benchmarks to the prior year for the practice and if applicable, by provider, and to the national surveys. Is your practice improving? if not, why not? More benchmarks to follow in future posts but for now we will start with the simple ones:

  • Gross Collection Percentage
  • Net Collection Percentage
  • Days in A/R
  • A/R Ratio
  • A/R in excess of 90 days old
  • This year better than last year?
  • Clinical/Procedure/Ancillary Encounters
  • Provider Work RVUs
