The focus on satisfaction must permeate your entire organization, so get everyone on the same page by adopting a vision statement. In every exam room, nursing station, billing desk, and bathroom, post the following statement:

"We are committed to bringing you the very best in family healthcare. Our team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, counselors, and support staff will work together to:

  • Treat you with dignity and respect
  • Provide you with dependable and courteous service
  • Communicate clearly and honestly
  • Protect your confidentiality
  • Recognize your unique needs as a person
  • Earn your trust"
