Physicians Win Big: Time to Act Against Managed Care!

Finally a physician win!!! When are physicians finally going to realize they need to "fight back" against managed care payers? Would somebody please explain to me why physicians keep putting their collective heads in the sand and won't ACT? I don't know about you, but I'm personally tired of all of the physician whining I keep hearing about managed care when they all just sit around doing nothing about it (or at least trying to do something about it). Oh well, here's the blurb on the Blue Cross thing..............

Blue Cross and Blue Shield organizations across the country have settled their disputes with nearly 900,000 physicians this week, paying the doctors $128 million.

The settlement covers an excess of 90% of all Blues plans, and ends the 4-year long class-action case that began in a Miami federal court.
