Pushing paper? Remember the 4 F’s

File it  If a piece of paper is workth saving, file it immediately. Don't toss it on your desk for later.

Forward it  If the paper requires action from someone else in your office, immediately forward it to that person.

Finish it  If the paper requires you to do something, do it now instead of waiting later.

Fling it  If the paper doesn't need to be filed, forwarded or finished, trash it!
