Having problems accessing the PECOS system? Be sure to follow these steps:
- Enroll security officials in IACS (required to access PECOS)
- IACS authorized individual for provider accesses PECOS
- Register Group in PECOS
- Register individual providers under the Group in PECOS (can be done at same time, but increases opportunity for errors)
- At the end of the process you will have to have the individual provider’s NPPES login info (user name & password). NPPES is system that issued the NPI.
