Tell Congress it’s time to fix Medicare reimbursement!

Written by Reed Tinsley | August 24, 2006

Please join the Medical Group Management Association's grassroots advocacy efforts to repeal Medicare’s physician reimbursement formula, based on the sustainable growth rate (SGR). The flawed SGR formula is responsible for the 5.1 percent reduction in Medicare’s physician reimbursement schedule, set to take effect Jan. 1, 2007. Write your senators and representatives today to urge congressional action to repeal the SGR and replace it with a formula that provides annual payment increases for Medicare services.

Write to your lawmakers using MGMA’s Advocacy Center.
